Casa Palmeira is nestled in the rural hills of Patã, a small village between Boliqueime and Albufeira, in a quiet villa area away from the hustle and bustle. The Portuguese quinta preserves the originality of the local construction and combined with modern high quality and stylish equipment and furnishing. The owners attach great importance to the fact that selected Portuguese elements are skilfully displayed in all living areas and the garden.
2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are located in the older wing of the country house with thick walls and covered terrace; one of these bedrooms has a cosy loft bed with safe stairs and fan. In the middle of the house is a spacious dining area with beautiful wooden table, adjoining the open very well equipped kitchen with Lacanche ceramic hob and Smeg vintage fridge. A few stairs lead to the elegantly designed living room with access to the terrace and views of the flower garden.
From the kitchen you enter the other wing of the house with 2 bedrooms (air-conditioning), dressing room and 2 bathrooms. One of the two bedrooms is on the first floor with a large private terrace and views over the countryside to the sea.
There is a separate laundry room with rotary dryer, washing machine and other useful utensils such as hoover.
The garden and pool area with sundeck under passion fruit pergola are a single oasis of blossoms, a very well maintained wilderness of bougainvillea, carob tree, water plants in the hewn stone pool, banana bushes, flower beds, pergolas and lawn area. There are several shady spots - under the carob tree, at the walled covered barbecue area, in the outdoor kitchen - to enjoy the different hours and moods of the day. The outdoor kitchen, also fully equipped, offers a gas cooker, sink, table, armchairs, crockery, coffee machines (capsules and powder), toaster, blender, electric juicer and 2 refrigerators for successful barbecues and social gatherings with family and friends.
