Description
The beautiful country house Vivenda Bouganvilla lies on the slopes of the Monchique Mountains, the highest elevation in the Algarve at around 900m, nestled in the hilly landscape. Surrounded by terraces that have been cultivated with fruit trees, cork oaks and olive groves since Roman times, you are still very close to the original life of the Algarve. There are water sources on the terraces (not drinking water!) and open old stone pools that serve as catch basins -be careful with small children.
The house is largely furnished with natural materials such as wood and ceramics and blends unobtrusively into the surroundings.
Very well equipped, comfortably furnished, Vivenda Bouganvilla generously accommodates 6 people. On the lower level there is a spacious living room, open kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, guest toilet and patio, on the upper level 2 more bedrooms, bathroom and a sun terrace. From all rooms and terraces you can enjoy the impressive view to the Algarve coast.
You can find peace and quiet, enjoy nature on your doorstep on the beautiful terrace, relax under the palm tree, away from hectic activities.
In the cooler months, the house is an ideal starting point for interesting hikes; in the summer months, both the west coast and the south coast can be reached in about half an hour's drive.
