The well-kept garden of the property in Mediterranean style is criss-crossed by many small paths. There are various seating areas with tables and also a barbecue area. The garden is indirectly lit and has a small fountain in the middle. Further down, towards the sea, is the pool area with sun loungers and parasols.

Casa Galo Verde, a jewel consisting of 7 private holiday flats, is exquisitely situated directly on the stunning Albandeira cliffs and beaches near the well-known holiday resort of Carvoeiro.
The fantastic property is hidden behind a large wooden gate, partly fenced in, partly surrounded by low natural stone walls. Pure nature all around.
The holiday flats are each equipped with a bathroom (shower and tub), living room, open plan kitchen and separate bedroom as well as a private terrace, all with a view of the sea - an overwhelming view of the natural garden all the way to the sea! The communal pool, sunbeds and parasols tempt you to cool off and relax. Barbecue lovers get their money's worth, there is a large table and brick BBQ ready for relaxed sociable evenings.
A path leads from the garden through terrain overgrown with native shrubs, pine trees, flowers and bushes to the Praia das Fontainhas bathing bay below,

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist einmalig schön. Einige wenige Häuser in der Nachbarschaft, viel Natur und direkter Zugang zur Küste für einen entspannten Spaziergang.
Die Casa Galo Verde ist gemütlich, der Garten und der Pool sehr schön angelegt und bietet viel fürs Auge und Entspannung.
Wir haben uns in dieser kleinen Oase in mitten der doch sehr bebauten Algarve wiederholt sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wünschenswert wäre die Überprüfung und ggf. der Austausch der Küchenutensilien auf Alter und Funktionsfähigkeit.

Als Stammgäste gefällt uns das 1a Ambiente und die Lage

Zum einen war die Wohnung nicht sauber, wir mussten u.a. selber auslegen bei der Ankunft. Das Inventar, vor allem die Küche müssten dringend erneuert werden.
Auch wenn der Zuweg bekanntermaßen nicht asphaltiert ist sind zumindest die gröbsten Löcher aufzubessern und an mindestens 3 Punkten ist es notwendig die asträucher zu beschneiden + an 2 Stellen ein Spiegel für den Verkehr zu installieren.

Die Casa Galo Verde liegt traumhaft an der Algarve, ist allerdings in die Jahre gekommen und hat an einigen Stellen dringenden Instandhaltungsbedarf, Durch das kalkhaltige Wasser sind die Duschköpfe und Armaturen verkalkt. Ebenso sieht es in den Duschen aus. Die Wasserabläufe der Duschen und der Waschbecken scheinen auch nicht mehr richtig zu funktionieren. Daher sind in den Duschen an einigen Stellen schwarze Ablagerungen zu erkennen. Die Toilettenbecken ist stellenweise vergilbt und bedürfen einer Erneuerung oder weiteren Pflege. Den Küchen sind die Jahre ebenfalls anzusehen. Der Pool liegt wunderschön, leider ist der Wasserrand völlig verschmutzt und selbst nach einem Hinweis nicht gereinigt worden.
