Description
Quinta Sonhos, the proverbial dream home for nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet, offers five holiday apartments, all of which are identical in style and furnishings but differ in their internal layout.
Apartment 2 is the smallest of the apartments; the sleeping area is separated from the living/kitchen area by a half-height wall. The apartment has a private terrace, garden furniture, a parasol and a wonderful view of the countryside. Comfortable, bright, welcoming and minimalist, furnished largely with natural materials such as wood and cotton, it offers an alternative where nature takes centre stage. For this reason, the communal microwave and washing machine are located in a separate room accessible from outside. The covered barbecue area, featuring several brick-built barbecues, tables and chairs, is also popular for socialising and winding down the day with a view of the beautiful garden and countryside.
A path leads to the circular natural pool situated above, which is kept clean via a chemical-free filtration system; the pool is cleaned at least once a week.
Dog lovers (please note: dogs up to a maximum of 25kg only) are welcome to bring their pet on request; we can provide a bowl and a dog basket on request.
The village of Barão São João, well-known and popular with people interested in a life close to nature, is about a 10-minute walk away. There are village shops selling local produce, cafés, restaurants and a pleasant atmosphere. A key attraction for residents is the nearby "Mata do Barão", a vast pine forest, perfect for hikes and walks to explore the surrounding area.
The nearest beaches are in Luz, Lagos and Burgau – about a 10-minute drive away.
